I'm also curious about the lore of the game. I'm playing on Radiant, so I shudder to think what it does at harder difficulties. I even had a Hellion once who was REALLY good, but then she got murdered, which. I'm still feeling out the various classes and combinations- I haven't yet found an 'it' team, though the one Bounty Hunter I've picked up is an all-star, mostly for his "GET OVER HERE" grappling hook.

slightly less deadly, where on the flipside I don't think I've yet had a successful mission in The Cove yet.Īlso sometimes I get in a hurry to do a mission and forget to bring, like, food. Which, this said, are some places harder than the others? Like, the Weald/Road is. This is a decidedly unoptimized run- it took me entirely too long to realize I had to confirm stress treatments, or to realize I could pick WHERE my guys went adventuring. I'm still getting the hang of things, and trying to figure out party composition. Though on the flipside it's still kind of fun in an "You are expendable, a-la X-Com" sort of way. not from Games Workshop! Which means more female characters and fewer fungal-based orks.īeen poking away at it when I have the time, blundering through, and I am. So why not? It's Warhammer Fantasy-ish, just. I personally think it's one of the most all-around solid combinations in the game.Look, Steam had it for under four bucks for their spoopy season sale. You do lose out on a stun, but you gain in accuracy. If you're feeling confident, replace the Vestal with an Arbalest for the extra mark synergy and suppressing fire's accuracy debuff. If you end up in a battle with two Fungal scratchers remaining, have him guard the MAA in first position and laugh as they miss for 10 consecutive turns while your Vestal heals everyone back to full.Īlso, there are enough high prot, high health enemies that the HM's mark is totally worth using.

Houndmaster with dodge trinkets becomes virtually invincible after using Guard dog once or twice, as quite a few of the enemies appear to have low base accuracy. Having both of the classes with Guard abilities is helpful against the high single-target damage enemies (giants and scratchers, along with enemies that mark targets). Vestal - Bounty Hunter - Houndmaster - Man At Arms I recently had a very successful Champion run with the following party:
