Leading up to Battle for Azeroth, the Mage Tower is permanently up as of June 26th-you don't need to wait for the building to pop every week. If you want to use this appearance for transmog, you must complete it in Legion! The Mage Tower Challenge is being removed in the Battle for Azeroth pre-patch. While better gear and more traits will make the challenge easier, there is still an element of skill. It will demonstrate your skill as a player. This Challenge is designed to be difficult. The first time you access the encounter, it will be free - but if you fail, all future attempts will cost 100 Nethershards. Speak to War Councilor Victoria once the Mage Tower is constructed to attempt the challenge. You MUST complete this challenge during Legion in order to transmog to this appearance in future expansions. This building will be up for 3 days at a time. To attempt the challenge, your region must have constructed the Mage Tower on the Broken Shore.
